Welcome to California!

01.18.08 - Well I made it to California! For those of you I didn't get a chance to tell or just found out, I moved from Connecticut to California this holiday season. My sister and I packed up our stuff, on Christmas day, and headed out on a 6 day drive to Silicon Valley! Trying to mix sightseeing and planned travel during a cross country trip turned out to be a little more challenging then anticipated. If I were do do it again I would take 10+ days for sure and not travel during 2 major holidays. Aside from that the driving was easy up until Texas where a nasty snow storm kicked up and made the last 40 miles into Amarillo a living nightmare.
